technology rotation

Hi bloggers. For previous 3 weeks, we were having a technology rotation. In Waitemata, we had to make a bridge from a side of a table without lying it across to another table. We had to keep it the same height as the table. We also had to keep the bridge the same height as the table so it doesn't drag down on one side and on top of that we had to put a marble to put on weight on the bridge.

Materials used

  1. 3 straws
  2. 4 Popsicle sticks
  3. 1 metre of tape
  4. 1 marble
  5. 8 tooth pics
  6. 1 string
  7. 1 cup
In Manukau we did L.E.D light challenge. We had to use materials to make the light work. We had to put all of the materials on a piece of board.

Materials

  1. Battery
  2. tin foil
  3. paper clip
  4. split pin
In Hauraki, we made a geo board. A geo board is a piece of board that has 25 nails hammered in rows. We put coloured rubber bands around it to make some cool shapes.
I loved the technology challenge and my favourite one was the BP Challenge.
I learnt that when you are nailing something in to something, it has to be even.

Here are some photos.
